It's troubling to see how many students these days have totally zero school pride. They don't bother about their community, they don't engage in programs, and they just seem indifferent. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a community and cheer for their fellow students. This lack of passion is negative to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

This Isn't My Old School

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reflect. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same significance for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a period of growth, just not one that sticks with me in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I found my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

I Am Bleeding Blue

The world doesn't understand that I ooze a different shade. They stare with disgust as I show the truth of my nature. My life force is a sign of {somethingdifferent that they can't imagine. They classify me as other, but I am simply special.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and screaming at some game I check here couldn't care less about. Just let me learn and be

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their enthusiasm is contagious.

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
